Top Signs Of Pregnancy

The first sign of pregnancy for many women is a missed period. Additionally, women may experience the following:

  • Morning sickness (nausea with or without vomiting that can occur at any time of day)
  • Frequent urination
  • Bloating
  • Mood swings
  • Fatigue
  • Swollen or tender breasts
  • Food cravings or aversions
  • Light spotting

Pregnancy symptoms alone cannot be used to diagnose pregnancy. This is because some pregnancy symptoms may also have other causes. For example, a missed period may be caused by stress, rapid weight gain or loss, or specific medications. Regular hormonal changes can cause mood swings, fatigue, bloating, and tender breasts.

If you are sexually active and have symptoms consistent with pregnancy, taking a pregnancy test is critical.
